1 Launch and open windows
Double click on Refill Maker Icon to launch. By choosing “New...” item in File menu, this dialog appears:
Choose one of the eight radio buttons and specify “Start from Year”. Then click OK button.
If you choose Weekly2, new windows appears like this:
At the bottom left of the window, there are page numbers for currently shown and the total pages of the contents. For Weekly2 window, total pages are 55. To see other pages, use scroll bar next to the page number display.
(You cannot see page 1 of Weekly 2, because it's a blank page.)
NOTE: Refill pages which have holes on right side are called “even pages”. And holes on left side are called “odd pages”.
By choosing “New Holidays Editor” item in File menu, you'll get a window like this:
Click on days to set/reset holidays. By clicking on Su, Mo..., you can set/reset holidays on the same row at once.
Holidays files edited by above kind of window can be imported into “Dated” Refill window(s). To import, click inside the “Dated” Refill window(s).
Pop up menu let you choose Holidays file to be imported. Also you can clear holidays.
2 Printing Refill
To print window contents, choose “Print...” item in File menu.
If it's first time to choose “Print...”, Page setup dialog appears:
Almost all of the printers on market does not have papaer size selection for bible-size refill.
No problem! Choose Letter, Legal or A4 size instead. Then click OK button.
On the bottom of Print dialog, there are 2 radio buttons and 3 check boxes appended.
From v1.0.1, “Print Offset” check box and two entry fields are also appended.
If your printer is LaserWriter or something like that, choose Refill Maker from Pop-up menu.
Note that page numbers you specify in Print dialog are correspond to the page numbers shown at the bottom left of each window.
Choose either “Print to Refill” or “Print to Sheet” radio button and click OK.
2-1 Print to Refill
You can print windows' contents to blank refill. (Must be cheaper than printed dated ones.)
In this mode, “Print Odd Pages” and “Print Even Pages” check boxes are activated.
If you want to print many refills, I recommend to check only “Print Odd Pages” check box and print odd pages for all of the refill. Then turn off “Print Odd Pages” and check “Print Even Pages” check box. Set the half-printed refill upside down and print even pages.
If you want to print refill one-by-one, check both “Print Odd Pages” and “Print Even Pages” check boxes.
If you check “Print Offset” check box, printed image gets location offset from top-left of the Refill or sheet.
2-2 Print to Sheet
You can print windows' contents to standard papers.
In this mode, “Print Frame” check box is activated.
Two pages are printed on one sheet. If "Print Frame" check box is checked, frame and 2 x 6 holes are also printed.
2-3 Print to the very end of papers
Many printer cannot print to the very end of papaers by the limitation of sheet feeding mechanism. If you have to overcome that problem, stick “PostIt” at the end of papers. (Counter printing side, of course.) Try printing with “PostIt” sticked. By doing that, almost all printer can print to the very end of papers.
NOTE: Confirm the “PostIt” is sticked firmly before printing. Otherwise the “PostIt” may be left inside your printer. Do it at your own risk.
